Popular US entertainment magazine, Rolling Stone
in its new edition has crowned rapper Eminem as
the ‘King of Hip Hop’. The Detroit city native tops
the list of 20 rappers including the likes of Jay Z,
Kanye West and Rick Ross.
The news has begun to raise criticism amongst Hip
Hop enthusiasts around the world with every man
naming his/her own number one. Some Hip-Hop
enthusiasts around the world believe Eminem
doesn’t deserve the number one spot while others
say Marshall Mathers deserves the crown.
The magazine says that the list was formed by analyzing data like album sales, YouTube hits and social networking popularity to determine who has the highest index number and eventually be crowned the ‘King’.
Other artistes who made the list are Diddy, Big Boi of Outkast, B.O.B, Lupe Fiasco, Pitbull, and Kid CuDi. Check out the full list below…
